Our Sunday School classes run from 9-9:45am on Sunday mornings. We offer classes for k-adult and nursery for preschool age children.

TRUTH-BASED

We believe that God’s word is foundational truth, and it is our heart to train every kid to use it as their guide, authority, and conscience in everything.

RELATIONAL

We believe that life-change happens best in the context of relationships. Gifted, godly, and passionate adults who exhibit Christ to children, their families, and each other will show kids how to do the same. This modeling will impact God’s Kingdom for generations to come.

ADVENTUROUS

We believe that church is FUN and that “it is a sin to bore a kid with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.” Therefore, it is our commitment to challenge kids beyond the rules of church toward a vibrant growing relationship with Christ.

INNOVATIVE

We believe in inspiring kids to greatness by pursuing excellence in our programs, risking in our attempts to be innovative, and ruthlessly examining everything we do in order to remain biblical, relevant, and effective.

NURTURING

We believe that spiritual growth happens best in an atmosphere of emotional safety, physical safety and love.

Logos

Logos is our midweek children’s ministry. Logos meets from 5-7pm on Wednesday evenings.

The four parts of the LOGOS weekly ministry model are:

Bible Study – Bible study nurtures youth and children into intelligent, obedient, and biblically-informed discipleship. In grade level groups, each LOGOS class uses a curriculum that is designed to meet their unique needs and learning capabilities.

Worship Skills – Worship is essential and central to the Christian community. In Worship Skills young people learn about worship and prepare to lead in the Sunday morning service of worship.

Recreation Play – Recreation Play allows LOGOS young people to experience great fun at the expense of no one else. They participate in games and active play, do crafts, or experience the hobby or special interest of a member of the congregation. When we reveal ourselves in play, we strengthen friendships, and when conflicts occur, we practice our Child of God theology.

Family Time – Family Time provides a joyous, intergenerational celebration of personhood over a shared meal as LOGOS young people experience being part of the family of God. Young people are assigned to tables along with one or two adults who act as “table parents.” The group around the table becomes a family as they share meals together throughout the year. Food is served family style. Conversation is purposeful. Life is celebrated!

Sidekicks

Sidekicks is our K-5th grade children’s church ministry. Sidekicks runs during the second half of the 10am worship service.

Bible Study – Bible stories are taught in fresh new ways, using video, puppets and interactive story telling designed to give you something to talk about as a family. Children are involved in the story telling to teach leadership and modeling.

Worship – Worship includes modern worship songs and Sunday School classics.

Crafts – Older kids assist the younger kids as we create hand crafted items to remind us of the Biblical truths from our Bible story. Every child takes home a craft with a note to aid in family conversation.

Hands On – Our overall philosophy in Sidekicks is a hands on approach to learning that encourages kids to help those around them and lead by example, while they learn.
